Peabody entrepreneur Frasca running for at-large seat

Scott FrascaAs we contemplate the when and the who of an upcoming special election for Peabody’s open State Rep seat, a candidate has emerged for a totally different election.

Local entrepreneur Scott Frasca told me today that he will be running for Councilor At-Large next fall. He says he hasn’t made his official announcement yet, but that he’s definitely in to win.

The former Library Trustee and board member of the Peabody Chamber of Commerce, is also President of Making a Difference, a Peabody charity that helps those in need when it comes to basics like home heating oil and food. Frasca, who has over the years also been very active with Peabody’s Republican Party City Committee, founded the charity in 2002.

By the way, anyone out there who’s planning to run for office in 2012, and would like to announce it here on EOP, can do so by sending me a message. This offer is open to everyone.
